Designed for students in 2nd through 4th grade, this course introduces foundational concepts in LEGO engineering and robotic programming. Students will explore mechanics and technology by building with gears, motors, and sensors to create a variety of interactive machines.
Using LEGO’s specialized coding platforms, kids will learn to bring their creations to life—programming them to respond with lights, sounds, colors, motion, and more. It is the perfect hands-on introduction to STEM!

In this course, students will design and build their own, playable games that they can easily share with friends.
Participants will develop a foundational toolkit, empowering them to continue building custom games at home. Students may continue with higher level classes to increase their knowledge.

Designed for students in 5th through 8th grade, this course introduces foundational concepts in 3D design and three-dimensional modeling. Students will explore mechanics and technology by building with TinkerCAD, a specialized design app, to create a variety of custom digital objects.
Using TinkerCAD's creation tools, kids will learn to bring their ideas to life and shape them to form structures with precise dimensions, unique geometric forms, personalized details, and more. It is the perfect hands-on introduction to STEM!

Students will explore mechanics and technology by building with the VEX IQ platform, creating custom remote-controlled robots to compete in live soccer matches on a specialized game field.
Working in teams of two, kids will learn to bring their strategic ideas to life by building robots capable of agile maneuvering, defensive blocking, precise passing, and goal scoring. It is the perfect hands-on introduction to STEM and teamwork!

Designed for students in grades 5th through 8th who have completed the RIZE 3D Design I or have previous TinkerCAD experience.
3D Design II introduces intermediate concepts in 3D design and three-dimensional modeling. Students will be able to custom design original models, use outside sources to see how models can be created. Students will continue to explore mechanics and design, by creating with the TinkerCAD design app.
Using TinkerCAD's intuitive creation tools, kids will learn to bring their ideas to life—shaping them to form structures with more advanced tools and options from the TinkerCAD library. A perfect way to evolve a passion for design in STEM!

BATTLE BOTS
Designed for students in 4th through 7th grade, this course develops concepts in engineering and robotic design. Students will explore mechanics and technology by building with the VEX IQ platform, creating custom remote-controlled robots to battle each other in our custom arena.
Working in teams of two, students will learn to bring their strategic ideas to life by building robots capable mastering the five key skills of robotics competition: push, pull, lift, drop, and throw. It is the perfect hands-on introduction to STEM and teamwork!
