Team 603X, the VEXRAYS, is RIZE Robotics' competitive VEX IQ Robotics team, participating in both the RECF and VEX Robotics competition programs. Through teamwork, innovation, and collaborate, our students design, build, and program competitive robots while developing advanced engineering, coding, and problem-solving skills.
Our Elementary Division team earned the prestigious New Hampshire Excellence Award in both 2025 and 2026, recognizing the VEXRAYS as the state's top VEX IQ ES team. In 2026, the team also captured the New Hampshire Robot Skills Championship, demonstrating exceptional performance in both robot controlled driving and autonomous programming. Their outstanding season earned them the opportunity to represent New Hampshire at the VEX IQ World Championship in St. Louis, Missouri.
At RIZE Robotics, our competitive program is about more than winning awards. Team members collaborate to engineer innovative robots, write efficient code, develop original game strategies, and continuously improve through testing and iteration. Along the way, students build confidence, leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while competing against some of the best young robotics teams from around the world.
The team is already hard at work on next seasons robotic challenge.
Get ready for fast-paced fun and friendly competition in our Mario Kart and Rocket League Esports program! Designed for students in grades 4–8, this program introduces the exciting world of competitive gaming in a structured, team-based environment. Students learn how to practice good sportsmanship, communicate effectively, and work together as they compete in two of the most popular and engaging esports titles.
In Mario Kart, students develop quick decision-making skills, reaction time, and strategic thinking as they navigate dynamic race tracks and unpredictable challenges. In Rocket League, they step into high-energy, team-based matches that combine soccer with rocket-powered cars, encouraging coordination, teamwork, and advanced strategy. Along the way, students learn the importance of practice, focus, and adapting to different game situations.
Beyond gameplay, the program emphasizes healthy competition, collaboration, and digital citizenship. Students build confidence as part of a team, set goals for improvement, and learn how to reflect on performance in a positive and constructive way. Whether racing to the finish line or scoring game-winning goals, this esports experience helps students grow both as players and as teammates.
